Welcome Campus Missionaries!

For the 2003-2004 school year we have officially commisioned 10 campus missionaries in the Northern New England District. We know that there are many more students who are working to reach their campus for Christ but so far only these 10 have made the commitment required to be commisioned as a campus missionary. They have committed to the following:

- They covenant to grow in the five commitments of a campus missionary (PRAY, LIVE, TELL, SERVE, GIVE) throughout this school year. They will use the G5 book in a group with their youth pastor/campus missionary coach or by themselves as a study guide and resource to grow in the five commitments. By the end of the year, our prayer is that they will be able to see a marked growth in each one of these areas

- They will prayerfully select five people (friends, teachers etc.) who they want to see make a commitment to Christ.  As they begin intensive prayer for each one, they will be looking for opportunities to share Christ with them. As each friend accepts Christ, they will prayerfully add a new name to their list and begin praying for them.

- They will stay accountable by completing monthly reports as requested by their youth pastor/campus missionary coach. As they see God moving in the lives of their friends, and in their campus club meetings, they will share what God is doing on the reports and by emailing Pastor Ed at nnedes@maine.rr.com.

Most of these students are from the Vermont area attending church at either Assembly of God Christian Center in Vergennes or Community Bible Church in South Burlington. You don't have to attend a large church to be a campus missinary, you don't have to be in Vermont, wherever you are you can become a campus missionary. It just takes commitment to reach the students in your community with the love of Jesus.

As we receive reports we will be posting them on the site, so you can share in the excitement.
